Job Overview
The Hospitality Operations Auditor will play a critical role in ensuring that our Grand Baie property adheres to the highest international standards of service, safety, and operational efficiency. This role is essential for maintaining the brand reputation that Marriott is known for globally. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audits across various departments, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure compliance with both corporate policies and local regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular and unannounced operational audits across all hotel departments to ensure compliance with Marriott’s global standards.
- Evaluate service delivery protocols to ensure guest satisfaction remains at the highest level.
- Review financial transactions and inventory management processes to prevent leakage and ensure accuracy.
- Identify operational gaps and provide actionable recommendations to department heads for continuous improvement.
- Monitor health, safety, and sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Prepare detailed audit reports for the General Manager and regional compliance teams.
- Collaborate with department heads to implement corrective action plans following audit findings.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in hospitality operational standards and luxury service protocols.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex operational data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse teams and management.
- Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to drive organizational change.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or Accounting is mandatory. Professional certifications in auditing or quality management are highly preferred.
Experience
A minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality operations or hospitality auditing within a luxury hotel environment is required. Proven experience in managing compliance and quality assurance processes is essential for success in this role.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 65,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
