Job Overview
The FinTech Product Manager will lead the end‑to‑end lifecycle of digital financial products, from concept through launch and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Head of Digital Banking, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, design, risk, compliance, marketing, and operations—to deliver solutions that meet customer needs, regulatory standards, and business objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Define and communicate product strategy, vision, and roadmap for FinTech solutions such as mobile wallets, peer‑to‑peer payments, and digital lending platforms.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify unmet needs and emerging trends in Mauritius Jobs and broader African markets.

Required Skills
- Strong understanding of FinTech ecosystems, digital payments, blockchain, and emerging financial technologies.
- Proven experience in product management, preferably within banking, financial services, or technology sectors.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a data‑driven decision‑making approach.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior leadership.
- Agile project management expertise, including Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
- Knowledge of regulatory environments in Mauritius and the broader African region.

- Proficiency with product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and road‑mapping software.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, PMP) are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage.
Experience
Applicants should have 5‑7 years of experience in product management or product ownership roles, with a proven track record of launching successful digital financial products. Experience within a bank, FinTech startup, or technology firm operating in Mauritius or the African market is essential.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 900,000 to SSP 1,300,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses, health insurance, and retirement benefits.
