Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydropower Systems Designer to join our specialized engineering team in Curepipe. This role is critical to our mission of optimizing existing hydroelectric assets and designing new, efficient systems that can withstand the unique topographical challenges of Mauritius. The successful candidate will lead the technical design phase of large-scale hydropower projects, ensuring all systems meet international safety and efficiency standards. Key Responsibilities

Education

A Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field is mandatory. Professional accreditation from a recognized engineering board is highly preferred.

Experience

A minimum of 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in hydropower plant design or large-scale renewable energy infrastructure is required. Proven experience in the Mauritian or similar island-based energy sectors is a significant advantage.

Salary

The annual gross salary for this position ranges from SSP 850,000 to SSP 1,200,000, depending on experience and technical expertise.
