Job Overview

The Financial Crime Compliance Analyst will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the bank against money laundering, terrorist financing, and other illicit activities. Reporting to the Head of Financial Crime Compliance, the analyst will conduct thorough investigations, monitor transactions, and ensure adherence to local and international regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed investigations of suspicious activity reports (SARs) and escalated alerts.
  • Perform customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) on high‑risk clients.
  • Monitor transaction patterns using advanced analytics and AML software tools.
  • Prepare comprehensive investigation reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • Stay updated on evolving AML/CTF regulations, sanctions regimes, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Legal and Risk departments to develop and refine compliance policies.
  • Assist in the delivery of periodic compliance training for staff across the organization.
  • Support audit activities and respond to regulator inquiries in a timely manner.

Education

Experience

Applicants should have 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in financial crime compliance, anti‑money laundering (AML), know‑your‑customer (KYC) processes, or related regulatory functions within a banking or financial services environment. Experience with international sanctions screening and cross‑border transaction monitoring is preferred.

Salary

The annual salary range for this role is SSP 600,000 to 900,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and incentives may be offered in line with the bank’s remuneration framework.
