Job Overview

The Senior Hospitality Sommelier will play a pivotal role in our fine-dining establishments. This position is not merely about pouring wine; it is about storytelling, education, and creating memorable sensory experiences for our international clientele. You will be responsible for managing our extensive cellar, curating seasonal wine lists, and advising guests on the perfect pairings for our world-class cuisine. Key Responsibilities

  • Curate and manage an extensive, high-value wine and beverage cellar.

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design seasonal beverage menus.
  • Ensure all service standards align with international luxury benchmarks.

Required Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of international wine regions and grape varieties.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in English and French.
  • Strong organizational skills for cellar management and inventory control.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-end hospitality environment.
  • Deep understanding of vintage aging and storage requirements.

Education

A formal certification from a recognized body such as the Court of Master Sommeliers (CMS) or WSET Level 3 or higher is mandatory. A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is highly preferred.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a luxury fine-dining setting is required. Proven experience in cellar management and staff training is essential for this senior-level position.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 65,000 SSP, depending on experience and qualifications.
