Key Responsities
- Lead complex incident response engagements to identify, contain, and eradicate advanced cyber threats.
- Perform deep-dive forensic analysis on endpoints, networks, and cloud environments to determine the scope of breaches.
- Develop and implement remediation strategies to prevent future security incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance detection capabilities and security posture.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior security analysts within the SOC.
- Document detailed incident reports and post-mortem analyses for executive stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Advanced expertise in digital forensics and incident response (DFIR) methodologies.
- Proficiency in analyzing malware behavior and identifying Indicators of Compromise (IoCs).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating system internals, and cloud security architectures.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under extreme pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical findings into actionable business intelligence.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Advanced certifications such as GCIH, GCFA, or CISSP are highly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of direct experience in cybersecurity incident response or digital forensics. Proven experience in managing large-scale security breaches and working within a 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) is essential. We are looking for professionals who have navigated complex threat landscapes across various industries.
Salary
The annual salary for this position ranges from 850,000 SSP to 1,200,000 SSP, depending on experience, technical expertise, and performance during the interview process.
