Job Overview
The BIM Manager will lead the implementation and management of BIM processes across all construction and renovation projects within Bolloré Logistics’ Mauritian operations. Reporting to the Head of Construction, you will collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and IT specialists to create, maintain, and optimize digital building models that drive cost savings, reduce project timelines, and improve operational safety. This position plays a pivotal role in integrating BIM with the company’s logistics management systems, ensuring that physical infrastructure aligns seamlessly with supply chain workflows.
As part of the role, you will be responsible for establishing BIM standards, training cross‑functional teams, and ensuring compliance with international BIM protocols such as ISO 19650. You will also act as the primary liaison between the construction site teams and the corporate digital transformation office, translating technical BIM data into actionable insights for senior management.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce BIM execution plans, standards, and workflows for all logistics facility projects.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and contractors to produce accurate 3D models and clash detection reports.
- Integrate BIM data with warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms to enable real‑time asset tracking.
- Lead BIM training sessions for internal staff and external partners, fostering a culture of digital collaboration.
- Conduct regular model audits to ensure data integrity, compliance with ISO 19650, and alignment with project schedules.
- Provide technical support during construction phases, including on‑site model reviews and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with the sustainability team to incorporate green building practices and energy‑efficiency analyses into BIM models.
- Prepare detailed BIM‑based cost estimations and quantity take‑offs to support budgeting and procurement.
- Maintain a centralized BIM library of reusable components, families, and templates to accelerate future projects.
- Report progress, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership through visual dashboards and presentations.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360 or equivalent platforms.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, especially in warehouse and logistics facility contexts.
- Experience with clash detection, model coordination, and 4D (time) simulation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate BIM data into cost and schedule insights.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and local building regulations in Mauritius.
- Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects.
- Fluency in English; French is an advantage.
Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required. Professional certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional, BIM Manager Certification, or PMP are highly desirable.
Experience
Applicants should have 5‑7 years of hands‑on BIM experience, preferably within the logistics, warehousing, or industrial construction sectors. Prior experience leading BIM implementation across multiple projects and training multidisciplinary teams is essential.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 800,000 to SSP 1,200,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses, health insurance, and a pension contribution scheme.
