Job Overview
The Director of Guest Services will lead the Guest Services department, ensuring that every guest enjoys an unforgettable stay that reflects Hilton’s brand promise. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement guest service standards that align with Hilton’s global brand guidelines.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of Guest Services Managers, concierge staff, and front‑desk personnel.
- Monitor guest feedback, online reviews, and satisfaction metrics to identify improvement areas.
- Collaborate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Sales teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Manage departmental budgets, forecasting, and cost‑control initiatives.
- Design and launch personalized guest engagement programs to increase repeat visitation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements specific to the hospitality sector.
- Represent the hotel at local tourism events and industry conferences to promote brand visibility.
Required Skills
- Exceptional leadership and people‑management abilities.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English; French or Creole is a plus.
- Proven ability to handle high‑pressure situations while maintaining service excellence.
- Strategic thinking with a customer‑centric mindset.
- Proficiency in hospitality management software (e.g., OPERA, MICROS).
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) or similar are highly desirable.
Experience
Minimum of eight years of progressive experience in luxury hotel guest services, with at least three years in a senior supervisory or managerial role. Demonstrated success in driving guest satisfaction scores above industry benchmarks is essential.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from 800,000 to 1,200,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and profit‑sharing opportunities are also available.
