Job Overview

The E-commerce UX Designer will be responsible for designing the visual and interactive elements of our digital storefronts. This role is critical in ensuring that our customers can navigate our vast catalog with ease and efficiency. You will work closely with product managers, software engineers, and data analysts to translate complex business requirements into elegant, user-friendly interfaces. This is a high-impact role within our Port Louis hub, contributing directly to the conversion rates and customer retention of our regional platforms. We are looking for a designer who understands the nuances of mobile-first design and can create responsive layouts that work perfectly on any device.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and implementation accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system to ensure brand consistency.
