Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Sustainable Procurement strategy aligned with corporate ESG targets.
  • Lead supplier assessment programs focusing on environmental impact, carbon intensity, and circularity.
  • Negotiate contracts that incorporate sustainability clauses, renewable material usage, and waste reduction commitments.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Operations, and Legal teams to integrate green criteria into product design and sourcing decisions.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators such as supplier carbon scores, recycled content percentages, and cost savings.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify innovative sustainable materials and technologies.
  • Provide training and mentorship to the procurement team on sustainable sourcing best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards (ISO 14001, GRI), and LafargeHolcim Group policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier diversity and local content.
  • Represent the company at industry forums, sustainability conferences, and stakeholder meetings.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of sustainable procurement frameworks and ESG reporting.
  • Proven negotiation and contract management expertise.
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret carbon accounting data.
  • Leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Fluency in English; French proficiency is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa).

Education
