Job Overview
The Industrial Gases Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and managing key accounts in the manufacturing, food & beverage, and energy sectors throughout Mauritius. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities across target industries, focusing on high‑value accounts.
- Conduct technical assessments of customer facilities to determine optimal gas solutions and equipment specifications.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, quotations, and presentations that address client needs and regulatory requirements.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements while ensuring profitability and compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety teams to guarantee flawless implementation and ongoing support.
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through regular visits, performance reviews, and value‑added services.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform strategic sales initiatives.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, reporting progress to senior management.
- Ensure accurate documentation in CRM systems and provide timely forecasts for demand planning.
Required Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial gases, applications, and safety standards.
- Proven B2B sales experience with a track record of meeting or surpassing targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Education

Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of successful B2B sales experience in industrial gases, chemicals, or related technical products. Experience within the Mauritian market or the broader African region is highly valued.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 600,000 to SSP 900,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and performance. A performance‑based bonus structure is also available.
