Job Overview

The Insurance Underwriting Analyst will play a pivotal role in evaluating, pricing, and structuring reinsurance contracts for a diverse portfolio of clients. Reporting to the Underwriting Manager, the analyst will conduct detailed risk assessments, develop actuarial models, and collaborate with underwriters, actuaries, and claims teams to ensure profitable and compliant underwriting decisions. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and assess risk exposures for property, casualty, marine, and specialty lines.

Experience

Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience in insurance underwriting, actuarial analysis, or risk assessment, preferably within a reinsurance or large insurance organization. Experience with data‑driven underwriting and exposure to the Mauritian market will be highly valued.

Salary
