Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Specialist to join our strategic sourcing team in Port Louis. This role is critical to our manufacturing success, ensuring that we secure the highest quality raw materials and packaging components at the most competitive prices. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to optimize the procurement of raw materials and packaging.

  • Monitor supplier performance metrics to ensure adherence to Nestlé’s strict quality and sustainability standards.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing and quality assurance teams to mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Analyze market trends and price fluctuations to inform procurement decisions and budget forecasting.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to streamline procurement processes and reduce waste.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certification such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) is highly preferred.

Experience

A minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or manufacturing sector. Proven track record of managing large-scale supplier portfolios and delivering significant cost savings.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 65,000 SSP, depending on experience and qualifications.
