Job Overview
The Senior Wind Farm Operations Manager will lead the day‑to‑day management of TotalEnergies’ wind farm assets located in the Black River district. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal performance, safety compliance, and cost‑effective operation of the wind turbines and associated infrastructure. You will work closely with engineering, maintenance, health‑safety, and stakeholder teams to maximize energy production, minimize downtime, and uphold the highest standards of environmental stewardship. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full operational lifecycle of the wind farm, including performance monitoring, maintenance planning, and outage management.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve target capacity factors and reduce operational expenditures.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of technicians, engineers, and contractors, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with Mauritian renewable energy regulations and environmental standards.
- Analyze real‑time data from SCADA systems to identify performance trends, troubleshoot issues, and drive corrective actions.
- Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and procurement of spare parts to ensure timely availability and cost efficiency.
- Prepare detailed operational reports, KPI dashboards, and financial performance summaries for senior management.
- Implement and champion continuous improvement programs, including predictive maintenance, digital twins, and AI‑driven analytics.
- Ensure robust health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices are embedded in all operational activities.
- Represent TotalEnergies in community outreach programs, stakeholder meetings, and industry conferences.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and people‑management abilities with a track record of leading technical teams.
- In‑depth knowledge of wind turbine technology, SCADA systems, and renewable energy operations.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data‑driven decision making.
- Proven experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial performance management.
- Effective communication and stakeholder‑engagement capabilities.
- Solid understanding of Mauritian HSE regulations and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).

- Fluency in English; French is an advantage.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a closely related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as PMP, CEM (Certified Energy Manager), or O&M certifications are highly desirable.
Experience
Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in wind farm operations, with at least three (3) years in a senior managerial role overseeing large‑scale renewable assets. Experience in the Indian Ocean region or similar offshore/on‑shore environments is a plus.
Salary
The competitive remuneration package ranges from SSP 1,200,000 to SSP 1,800,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses, health insurance, pension contributions, and other employee benefits.
