Job Overview

The Store Manager will lead the Quatre Bornes boutique, overseeing all aspects of daily operations, sales performance, visual merchandising, and team development. Reporting directly to the Regional Retail Director, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets, maintaining the highest standards of customer service, and ensuring compliance with brand guidelines. This position plays a pivotal role in driving revenue, cultivating client relationships, and fostering a culture of excellence among staff.

As the face of Cartier Mauritius, you will collaborate closely with marketing, inventory, and HR departments to implement strategic initiatives, launch new collections, and organize exclusive events that attract high‑net‑worth customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by achieving and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales associates, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards that reflect Cartier’s brand identity and seasonal collections.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with VIP clients, providing personalized service and after‑sales support.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure product availability.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to implement actionable improvements.
  • Oversee budgeting, expense control, and financial reporting for the boutique.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security protocols, as well as local labor regulations.
  • Organize and execute exclusive events, private viewings, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.

Required Skills

  • Proven leadership experience in luxury retail, preferably with high‑end jewellery or watch brands.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with fluency in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in retail management software.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and ability to build lasting client relationships.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications in luxury brand management or retail leadership are advantageous.

Experience

Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in luxury retail management, with a track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets and leading high‑performing teams.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from SSP 800,000 to SSP 1,200,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and performance. A performance‑based bonus structure and employee discount program are also included.
