Job Overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic operations team in Port Louis. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our complex logistics network. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing large-scale shipments, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing transit routes to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor complex international shipments from origin to final destination.

- Manage and evaluate third-party logistics providers to maintain high service standards.
- Analyze logistics data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Logistics Management Systems (LMS) and ERP software.
- Deep understanding of Incoterms, maritime law, and international shipping regulations.

- Strong communication skills for negotiating with global stakeholders.
- Expertise in route optimization and inventory management strategies.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certifications such as CILT or APICS are highly preferred.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven experience in logistics coordination or maritime operations, preferably within a large-scale international environment. Experience in the Port Louis maritime hub is a significant advantage.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 65,000 SSP, depending on experience and qualifications.
