Job Overview
The Logistics Operations Coordinator will support end‑to‑end freight movement, coordinate with carriers, manage documentation, and ensure timely delivery of goods across the island and beyond. This role is central to optimizing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and maintaining high service standards for clients. You will work closely with the Operations, Customer Service, and Finance departments to streamline processes and enhance the overall customer experience. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate scheduling and documentation.
- Monitor cargo status, track containers, and proactively resolve any delays or issues.
- Maintain communication with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.
- Update the transportation management system (TMS) with real‑time data and generate performance reports.
- Assist in inventory management, stock reconciliation, and warehouse coordination.
- Support the implementation of digital tools and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, international trade laws, and Maersk’s safety standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile freight invoices and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries and delivering timely solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with TMS or ERP systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and international shipping regulations.

Education
A relevant bachelor’s degree is required. Candidates with certifications in supply chain management, such as APICS CPIM or CSCMP, are highly regarded.
Experience
Applicants should have 2‑4 years of hands‑on experience in logistics coordination, freight forwarding, or related supply chain functions. Experience in a multinational environment is advantageous.
Salary
The position offers a competitive salary range of SSP 300,000 to SSP 500,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and incentives may also be part of the compensation package.
