Job Overview

The Senior Quality Assurance Manager will lead the QA function for Nestlé’s flagship production lines, ensuring compliance with international food safety standards such as ISO 22000, HACCP, and local regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Regional QA Director, the incumbent will develop, implement and continuously improve quality systems, drive audit readiness, and foster a culture of excellence throughout the manufacturing site. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and update the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet ISO 22000, HACCP, and Nestlé Global Food Safety standards.
  • Lead internal and external audits, manage corrective actions, and ensure timely closure of non‑conformities.
  • Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to embed quality by design principles into new product development.
  • Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and mentorship to QA staff, fostering a proactive quality culture.
  • Oversee supplier qualification, audits, and performance monitoring to guarantee raw material integrity.
  • Prepare comprehensive quality reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • Lead crisis management and product recall activities, ensuring swift and effective response.

Required Skills

  • In‑depth knowledge of food safety regulations, ISO 22000, HACCP, and GFSI standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a data‑driven mindset.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, SPC).
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Fluency in English and French; knowledge of Creole is an advantage.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CQE, HACCP Lead Auditor, or ISO 22000 Lead Implementer are highly desirable and will be considered an asset during the selection process.

Experience

Minimum eight years of progressive experience in quality assurance within the food and beverage manufacturing sector, with at least three years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Proven track record of leading successful audit programs, managing product recalls, and driving continuous improvement initiatives is essential.

Salary

The competitive remuneration package ranges from SSP 900,000 to SSP 1,200,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses, health insurance, pension contributions, and other employee benefits.
