Job Overview

The Senior Procurement Specialist will lead strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure the timely delivery of high‑quality raw materials and services essential for our production facilities. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for cement, aggregates, and ancillary services.
  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality, safety and sustainability standards.
  • Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and service level agreements to achieve cost savings of at least 5% annually.
  • Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, conduct regular audits, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and support production planning.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports, market analyses, and risk assessments to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging digital tools and data analytics to enhance procurement efficiency.

Education

Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive procurement experience within the construction materials or heavy‑industry sector, with at least three (3) years in a senior or lead role. Demonstrated success in managing large‑scale contracts and delivering measurable cost reductions.

Salary
