Job Overview

The Senior Construction Project Engineer will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large‑scale construction projects in Bel Ombre and surrounding regions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end management of construction projects valued up to SSP 500 million.
• Develop detailed project schedules, resource plans, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with design teams to ensure constructability and compliance with local building codes.
• Monitor site progress, conduct regular inspections, and enforce safety protocols.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and civil engineering principles.

• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Solid understanding of Mauritian construction regulations and environmental standards.

• Fluency in English and French; knowledge of Creole is an advantage.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as PMP, PE, or equivalent are highly desirable and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in project delivery.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of eight years of progressive experience in construction project engineering, preferably within large‑scale infrastructure or commercial developments. Salary
