Job Overview

The Senior Sustainable Supply Chain Analyst will lead the integration of sustainability principles into Unilever’s end‑to‑end supply chain operations in Mauritius. This role involves analyzing data, developing strategies, and implementing initiatives that reduce environmental impact while optimizing cost efficiency and supplier performance. The analyst will work closely with procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and sustainability teams to ensure compliance with Unilever’s Sustainable Living Plan and local regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sustainability roadmaps for sourcing, production, and distribution processes.
  • Conduct lifecycle assessments and carbon accounting for key product categories.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to implement green procurement standards and monitor compliance.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify opportunities for waste reduction, energy efficiency, and circularity.
  • Prepare quarterly sustainability performance reports for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Lead cross‑functional workshops to embed sustainable practices into daily operations.
  • Support the implementation of digital tools for real‑time tracking of sustainability metrics.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • In‑depth knowledge of sustainable supply chain frameworks and ESG reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Project management experience, preferably with PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
  • Ability to influence and drive change across diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with Mauritian regulatory standards on environmental compliance.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or professional certifications in sustainability (e.g., GRI, CDP) are highly desirable.

Experience
