Job Overview

The Senior Waste Management Engineer will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of waste treatment processes for both municipal and industrial clients. Reporting to the Head of Waste Management, the role involves overseeing project lifecycles, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and supervise the engineering design of waste collection, sorting, and treatment facilities.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, cost‑benefit analyses, and environmental impact assessments for new projects.
  • Ensure all operations comply with Mauritian environmental regulations and international standards.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in the execution of waste management projects, from concept to commissioning.

Education
