Job Overview

This role is part of CyberShield’s mission to deliver robust cybersecurity solutions to clients in Mauritius and beyond. The Cybersecurity Analyst will play a critical role in monitoring, analyzing, and mitigating security risks while ensuring compliance with international standards. The position offers opportunities to work on diverse projects, including enterprise network security, incident response, and vulnerability assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct continuous monitoring of IT systems for potential security threats
  • Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents using advanced forensic tools
  • Develop and implement security protocols aligned with ISO 27001 and NIST standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct penetration testing and risk assessments
  • Provide technical guidance on secure system configurations and encryption practices
  • Prepare detailed reports on security breaches and mitigation strategies

Required Skills

  • Proven experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, IBM QRadar)
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CEH
  • Strong knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Fluency in English and basic knowledge of French

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field. Advanced certifications in cybersecurity frameworks are highly advantageous.

Experience

3-5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity roles, preferably in enterprise environments. Prior experience in threat intelligence or incident response is preferred.

Salary

300,000 – 450,000 SSP annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
