Job Overview
The Senior Curriculum Development Specialist will lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of academic programmes across multiple disciplines. Reporting to the Director of Academic Affairs, you will work closely with faculty, industry partners, and accreditation bodies to ensure that curricula are innovative, relevant, and meet international standards. This position is central to the university’s strategic plan to expand its programme portfolio and enhance student outcomes. You will be responsible for translating learning objectives into engaging course structures, integrating technology‑enhanced learning, and aligning assessments with competency frameworks. Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end curriculum design for new and existing programmes, ensuring alignment with market needs and accreditation requirements.

- Integrate digital learning tools, blended learning models, and emerging educational technologies to enhance student engagement.

- Prepare comprehensive documentation for accreditation bodies and ensure compliance with national education standards.

Required Skills
- Expertise in curriculum design, instructional design, and pedagogy for higher education.
- Strong knowledge of Bloom’s taxonomy, competency‑based education, and assessment design.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (Moodle, Canvas) and e‑learning authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate).
- Excellent analytical, research, and data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with accreditation processes and quality assurance frameworks.
Education
A Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum Design, Instructional Technology, or a closely related discipline is required. A doctoral degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., ATD, CIPD) are considered an advantage.
Experience
Minimum of eight years of progressive experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or academic program management within a tertiary education setting. Experience working with international accreditation bodies and industry collaborations is highly desirable.
Salary
The successful candidate will receive a competitive annual salary ranging from SSP 800,000 to SSP 1,200,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits suite.
