Job Overview
The Senior Propulsion Systems Engineer will lead the design, analysis, and validation of advanced propulsion subsystems for next‑generation aircraft engines. Reporting to the Head of Propulsion Engineering, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including materials science, thermodynamics, and control systems, to ensure that engine performance meets stringent efficiency, reliability, and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptual design and detailed engineering of propulsion components, including turbines, compressors, and combustors.
- Perform advanced computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and finite element analysis (FEA) to optimize performance and durability.
- Develop and execute test plans for component validation, coordinating with test facilities in Mauritius and overseas.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
