Job Overview

The Cloud Infrastructure Operations Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for the design, deployment, monitoring, and optimization of Microsoft Azure services hosted in the local data center. This position reports to the Regional Cloud Services Director and collaborates closely with security, networking, and product engineering teams to deliver resilient, scalable, and cost‑effective cloud environments. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Cloud Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, and Support Specialists.
  • Oversee the end‑to‑end lifecycle of Azure services, including provisioning, configuration, patching, and de‑commissioning.
  • Implement and maintain automation frameworks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Terraform to reduce manual interventions.
  • Develop and enforce incident response procedures, ensuring rapid resolution and root‑cause analysis.
  • Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and optimize cost.
  • Collaborate with security teams to enforce compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, and local data protection regulations.
  • Coordinate with product teams for feature rollouts, beta testing, and feedback loops.
  • Prepare regular operational reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using ITIL and Lean methodologies.

Required Skills

  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture, including IaaS, PaaS, and serverless services.
  • Strong background in Linux and Windows server administration.
  • Proficiency with automation tools such as Azure DevOps, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Experience with monitoring solutions like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Grafana.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, VPN, ExpressRoute, and firewalls.
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a data‑driven mindset.
  • Leadership and people‑management skills with a focus on coaching and development.
  • Effective communication skills in English; French is an advantage.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or ITIL Foundation are highly desirable.

Experience

Minimum of 5‑7 years of experience in cloud operations, data center management, or related IT infrastructure roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from SSP 900,000 to SSP 1,200,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses, stock purchase plans, and comprehensive benefits.
