Job Overview
The Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Analyst will play a critical role in our Grand Baie operations. You will be responsible for analyzing emerging threats, identifying adversary patterns, and providing actionable intelligence to our security operations center. This role is vital for our proactive defense strategy, ensuring that our clients are protected against zero-day exploits and advanced persistent threats (APTs). Key Responsibilities
- Monitor global threat landscapes to identify emerging trends and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Perform deep-dive analysis of malware samples and network traffic to extract indicators of compromise (IOCs).
- Produce high-quality intelligence reports for both technical and executive audiences.
- Collaborate with the incident response team to provide context during active security breaches.
- Develop and refine detection rules for our cloud-native security platform.
- Contribute to the internal knowledge base to enhance collective intelligence capabilities.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in network protocols and packet analysis (Wireshark, TCPDump).
- Deep understanding of adversary frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
- Expertise in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automation.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to correlate disparate data points into a coherent narrative.
- Exceptional written communication skills for technical reporting.
Education
A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field is required. Equivalent professional experience in high-stakes security environments will be considered.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, threat hunting, or digital forensics. Proven experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or a dedicated Threat Intelligence unit is highly preferred. We are looking for professionals who have navigated complex, large-scale enterprise environments.
Salary
The annual compensation for this position ranges from 850,000 SSP to 1,200,000 SSP, depending on experience, technical certifications, and expertise level.
