Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Specialist to join our technical team in Vacoas. This role is critical to our mission of implementing sophisticated control systems and automated workflows for our diverse client base. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and SCADA systems for large-scale industrial clients.
- Troubleshoot and optimize automated production lines to minimize downtime and maximize throughput.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate robotic systems into existing manufacturing frameworks.
- Conduct site surveys and technical assessments to determine automation requirements for new facility setups.
- Provide technical support and training to client operators on new automated systems.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal preferred).
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Profibus and Modbus.
- Expertise in HMI (Human Machine Interface) design and configuration.
- Analytical problem-solving skills with a focus on electrical and mechanical integration.
- Excellent project management and client communication skills.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a closely related field is mandatory. Candidates with specialized certifications in industrial automation will be given preference.
Experience
Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, specifically within a manufacturing or heavy industry environment. Proven experience in commissioning and commissioning large-scale automated systems is highly desirable.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 65,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s expertise and technical certifications.
