The Senior Maintenance Planner will lead the development and execution of comprehensive maintenance strategies for Caterpillar’s heavy equipment portfolio in Mauritius. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with production, engineering, and service teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal impact on operations.
  • Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, root causes of failures, and opportunities for reliability improvement.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost‑effective allocation of resources and compliance with financial targets.
  • Lead cross‑functional maintenance planning meetings and provide clear communication of schedules and priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and Caterpillar’s internal policies.
  • Prepare detailed reports on maintenance effectiveness, equipment availability, and key performance indicators for senior management.
