As part of our expansion plan, we are seeking a Senior Production Planner to lead the planning function, optimize resource utilization and drive operational efficiency across the supply chain.

Job Overview

The Senior Production Planner will be responsible for developing, coordinating and executing production schedules that align with market demand, inventory targets and strategic objectives. Working closely with the Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics and Sales teams, you will ensure that the right products are produced at the right time, in the right quantities, while maintaining cost effectiveness and high quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain master production schedules (MPS) based on sales forecasts, order backlog and inventory policies.
• Collaborate with demand planning to translate market insights into actionable production plans.
• Monitor daily production performance, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to meet delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components and packaging.
• Optimize line changeovers, workforce allocation and equipment utilization using lean tools such as SMED and value stream mapping.
• Prepare regular reports on capacity, lead times, on‑time delivery and key performance indicators for senior management.
• Lead cross‑functional meetings to align production priorities with sales, marketing and customer service.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve throughput and enhance product quality.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety and environmental standards throughout the planning process.
• Support the integration of advanced planning software and ERP modules to streamline data flow.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel, SAP PP or equivalent ERP systems.
• In‑depth knowledge of production planning, inventory management and supply chain principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead teams, influence decisions and drive change in a fast‑paced environment.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP or Six Sigma Green Belt are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of eight years of progressive experience in production planning or operations management within the footwear, apparel or related manufacturing sectors. Experience in a multinational environment and exposure to global supply chain networks will be valued.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from SSP 800,000 to SSP 1,200,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, qualifications and performance. The package includes a performance‑based bonus, health insurance, pension contributions and other statutory benefits.
