Job Overview
The Senior Textile Production Planner will lead the end‑to‑end planning process for LVMH’s high‑end textile lines, ensuring optimal resource allocation, on‑time delivery, and adherence to quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed production plans for multiple textile collections, aligning with sales forecasts and inventory targets.
- Coordinate with sourcing to secure raw materials, ensuring compliance with sustainability standards and cost objectives.
- Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to meet delivery deadlines.
- Lead cross‑functional meetings to synchronize design, manufacturing, and logistics activities.
- Utilize advanced ERP and APS systems to optimize capacity, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
- Prepare regular performance reports, highlighting key metrics such as on‑time delivery, inventory turns, and production variance.
- Mentor junior planners, fostering a culture of data‑driven decision making.
Required Skills
- Expertise in production planning, preferably within luxury textiles or apparel.
- Proficiency with ERP/APS software (e.g., SAP, Kinaxis, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of sustainable sourcing practices and compliance standards.
- Leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop teams.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCP are highly desirable and will be considered an asset.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of progressive experience in production planning within the textile or apparel manufacturing sector, with a proven track record of managing complex, high‑volume production schedules.
Salary
